To Willing Conflators Of Sigfried Sassoon, Leonard Cohen And Jeremy Todd (first and last letter)

I’m writing this not sent letter as an act of refusal.  I call on you to defy existing authority within the phantasmagoria that has replaced Society (the lies of those destroying the Earth).
There is a war between the rich and poor,
A war between the man and the woman.
There is a war between the ones who say there is a war
And the ones who say there isn’t.
Why don’t you come on back to the war?  That’s right, get in it.
Why don’t you come on back to the war?  It’s just beginning.
I am a citizen of the world (abstaining from the murder of the common good), convinced that I’m acting on behalf of anyone who has come into this situation without asking for it, without knowing who they are, where they’ve come from or where they’re going.  I believe that the falsehoods of the ongoing present can no longer hide what has concocted and maintained them:  aggression and conquest.  The purposes intended for us by these forces will never be clearly stated, even as everything implodes.
Well I live here with a woman and a child.
The situation makes me kind of nervous.
Yes, I rise up from her arms.  She says “I guess you call this love.”
I call it service.
Why don’t you come on back to the war?  Don’t be a tourist.
Why don’t you come on back to the war before it hurts us?
Why don’t you come on back to the war?  Let’s all get nervous.
I’ve witnessed and endured the sufferings of our kind and I can no longer be a party to prolonging these sufferings for ends which I believe to be evil and unjust. I am not protesting against the conduct of my contemporaries, but against the insincerity of, and apologists for, a death cult that intends to sacrifice us all.
You cannot stand what I’ve become.
You much prefer the gentleman I was before.
I was so easy to defeat.  I was so easy to control.
I didn’t even know there was a war.
Why don’t you come on back to the war?  Don’t be embarrassed.
Why don’t you come on back to the war?  You can still get married.
On behalf of those who are suffering now, I make this protest against the deception which is being practiced upon us; also I believe it may help to destroy the callous complacency with which the majority of those in relative comfort (for now) regard the continuance of agonies which they do not share and which they have not enough imagination to realize.
There is a war between the rich and poor.
A war between the man and the woman.
There is a war between the left and right,
A war between the black and white,
A war between the odd and the even.
Why don’t you come on back to the war?  Pick up your tiny burden.
Why don’t you come on back to the war?  Let’s all get even.
Why don’t you come on back to the war?  Can’t you hear me speaking?
